概况[edit]

常住人口487人，538户，以农业为主。村党总支部有党员67人，2020年获评优秀基层党组织。[1]镇里的湴溪柑桔基地即在此村。[2]

村庄建设与文化[edit]

村里发动乡贤集资，建设党群服务中心新办公楼、鱼塘村村容整治和朝安村宜居乡村项目，推进自来水和村道亮灯工程，并修建三面光水渠。[1]

村里还协助上级筹建邓荫南故居，借以开展爱国主义教育。邓荫南是早年追随孙中山的华侨。[1][2]
