永坚村在赤坎镇东南面，村域面积2.04平方公里，耕地1425亩。[1]2016年公布的下辖自然村为24条；百度百科则记为18个村小组，两说并存。[1][2]

2016年公布的人口为2350人；百度百科所载户籍人口为2515人。[1][2]

经济与建设[edit]

村集体的主要收入是房屋出租。[1]据2025年的报道，村里已有13条自然村完成人居环境整治，完成182间农房的风貌提升和1处乡村集市，节假日在村场收取停车费以增加集体收入；一对夫妻把废弃的碾米站改成了咖啡馆。[3]

据百度百科，永坚村入选2024年广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村，2022年又获评省乡村治理示范村；村中保留有清末至民国时期的广府民居95座。[2]
