村集体的收入来自出租的厂房和铺位，出租对象包括一家卫生院和两家企业；特色种植有枸杞和马齿苋。[1]

树溪村与红溪、石溪、永坚三村的35条自然村一起，在2024年进入美丽乡村建设的收尾和验收阶段。[3]百度百科称，村里引进了百香果、小番茄种植项目，并在2023年获评广东省乡村治理示范村。[2]
