塔边村是广东省台山市川岛镇下辖的行政村，位于下川岛中部，与水平村、独湾村相邻，沿川中大道可直达独湾港和王府洲旅游区。村中赵姓人口最多，相传是南宋皇族的后裔，塔边因此有「皇族村」之称。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据维基百科的记载，宋元崖山海战后，宋太傅张世杰带领残部退到下川岛附近，在一座小岛上传宋帝遗诏，封留下的大臣为王族，这座小岛后来称为王府洲；后来有南宋遗民移居下川岛，在岛上建起村落和祠堂，这些村子至今以赵姓居多，语言和生活习俗也有自己的特点。[2] 川岛镇政府的介绍也说，塔边村的赵姓居民是随南宋皇室撤到下川岛的遗民后代，他们在此定居后以打鱼为生。[1]

村域面积6.2平方千米，有4条自然村，村委会设在塔边村。[1]

经济[edit]

村民主要务农，作物以稻谷和番薯为主。[1] 据南方都市报2026年的报道，川岛镇正把塔边村作为第四批典型村来培育。[3]
