全村面积6.59平方千米，由小平山、马平咀和平山蓢3条自然村组成；镇政府2026年公布有505户、1929人。[2]

平山朗村山地较多，约5788亩，适合造林和种果树。耕地2059.65亩，其中水稻田850亩。[2]
