江东村是广东省台山市深井镇的行政村，在镇西南部，濒临镇海湾，与獭山村和小江村相邻。[1][2] 村子在小江圩东面，土地改革时曾划为江东小乡，村名由此沿用。[2]

镇政府2026年的资料记村域面积9.3平方千米，有9个自然村，经济以种植和养殖为主。[1] 博雅地名网记载全村人口4238人，1075户，分9个村民小组，村委会在碧峰村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时这一带属海宴都，民国时期划入台山县十区的小江乡。人民公社时期（1958年）称江东大队，属深井公社；1983年改称江东乡，1986年改为管理区，1999年改为村委会。[2] 2004年，江东村委会与东头村委会合并，仍称江东村委会；合并的月份，镇政府记为6月，博雅地名网记为9月。[1][2]

江东村属革命老区。2019年9月列入2018年度广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单，2021年12月获评广东省卫生村。[2]

经济[edit]

村里耕地2076亩，其中旱地163亩，其余为水田；主要种稻谷、花生和番薯，畜禽以生猪、三鸟为主。[2] 村民利用海边滩涂围起咸围，养鱼、虾、蚬、蚝。[2]

2022年，东头经济合作社的几处咸围先后以磋商方式出租给中广核台山风力发电有限公司，在养殖水面上方建设「渔光互补」光伏发电项目。其中新围仔新围、新围仔2号和原佳湖围合计约1085亩，租期20年，每年每亩租金起初为2000元，此后分段递增。[3][4]
