高朗村是广东省台山市汶村镇下辖的行政村，在镇的东南部，南面临海，东面与海宴镇的吉浦村接界，西面隔白沙运河与白沙村相邻，北面靠省道麻阳线[1][2]。村委会离圩镇约3千米[1]。据镇政府网站的村情资料，全村有4327人，耕地3011亩，全部是水田[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期属新宁县海宴都，民国时期设高朗乡，归台山县第九区[1]。1958年改为高朗大队，1988年改设管理区，1999年成立村委会[1]。2003年调整村级建制，高朗与天光、红花、五联三村合为一个村委会，即今高朗村[1]。

地理环境[edit]

村子属亚热带海洋性季风气候，年平均气温约21.9℃[1]。省道365线（麻阳线）和广东西部沿海高速公路都经过村边；各自然村之间已通公路，铺成水泥路面的村道有二十多千米[1]。

经济[edit]

高朗一向是产粮较多的地方，除稻谷外还出产甘蔗、莲藕和茨菇[1]。靠海一带有咸水虾塘一千八百多亩，出产虾、蟹和鳝类等海产[2]。在镇的规划中，高朗村属于特色种植区[3]。
