奇石村是广东省江门市台山市广海镇下辖的行政村，在广海城以西约1千米，南临广海湾。村民以种稻谷、蔬菜和养猪为主，村里保留着一座为防日军从海上登陆而修的地堡。清末重修灵湖古寺的彭凤桐就是奇石村人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，这一带属台山县第八区的城西乡。1958年成立奇石大队，归广海公社；1983年改称奇石乡人民政府，归广海区公所；1986年撤区建镇时设奇石村民委员会，1988年又改为管理区，管理区委员会设在康宁村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

奇石村东边就是广海城社区所在的广海城，北面靠着台海公路，南面是广海湾，西面以大水坑为界与团村相邻。村里有乡道连到台海公路，可通汽车，到台城约42千米。全村分为17个村民小组。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据广海镇人民政府2026年的资料，奇石村户籍登记835户，共2972人。耕地有1736.75亩，差不多全是水田（1706.08亩），旱地仅24.87亩。[1]

农产品主要是稻谷和蔬菜，畜禽以生猪为主。村里办有砖厂、绣花厂和饮食店，另有华侨中学、奇石小学，以及文化室、老龄会和医疗站。[1] 奇石村获得过广海镇先进党组织和尊师重教先进单位等称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村里的地堡位于海沙路的奇石南围，用来防范日军从海上登陆、进犯广海城。据镇政府的介绍，地堡建于1939年至1942年间。[1]

城东的灵湖古寺曾得到奇石村人的资助。该寺在清咸丰、同治年间的土客械斗中被焚，光绪十年（1884年），奇石村的彭凤桐带领全族出资倡议重修，并把寺名定为「灵湖古寺」；1947年，奇石协泰行的建筑商余沛又捐款将寺院略作修缮。[2]
