南洲是广东省江门市台山市冲蒌镇的一个自然村，属西海村委会。[1][4] 据镇政府网站2018年的介绍，村里有人口215人，旅居海外的乡亲则有500多人。[1] 南洲入选首批「江门市红色美丽侨村」，村中建有编织展览馆。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

2016年起，南洲村响应建设美丽乡村的号召整治村容村貌：由黎耀正、黎庆旋、陈锦文等村民倡议，成立了村容村貌筹建委员会，村民捐款并出工参与，前后投入约230万元，完成11项工程。主要内容有：[1]

  • 修葺加固村南、村北两座碉楼，在村北的大榕树下辟建南洲村公园，并把榕树头的祭台加高翻修。[1]
  • 翻新宁昌黎氏学校，在校内设立“老人之家”；文化楼也重新装修，立起《南洲村村场建设功德碑记》刻石。[1]
  • 村前南北装上路灯，巷口装上巷灯，全村安装监控设备，另新建厕所1座。[1]
  • 各条巷道铺上水泥路并埋设排水管，使用水与污水分流；村场铺设水泥，鱼塘边加装石柱栏杆；村北公路由4米加宽到5米，并埋设涵管把水引入耕地。[1]

文化[edit]

南洲有编织传统。西海村近年把南洲的编织文化与河洲的侨乡资源结合起来开发；冲蒌镇规划乡村休闲旅游线路时，也把西海南洲村的编织展览馆列为依托项目之一。[3][2]
