东云社区是广东省台山市台城街道下辖的社区，位于台城中心城区，面积1.06平方千米，下设平湖、前进、平安、上坑4个居民小组。社区东到环北大道，南、西两面以南门路为界，北面到石花公园路，居委会在南门六巷71号。[1][2]
台城街道办事处公布，截至2025年12月社区户籍人口1.38万人（4793户），流动人口332人，常住人口7374人；百度百科所记2024年11月的户籍人口为1.45万人（4399户）。[1][2] 台山市人民医院、台山市华侨中学和石花山公园都在社区范围内。[1]
社区设施[edit]
台东路和环北大道是区内的主要干道，有801路、804路公交车经过。东门市场一带商铺和食肆合计两百多间。[1][2]
医疗机构有台山市人民医院及其石化分院，以及台山市慢性疾病防治中心。教育和培训机构共7家，包括台师高级中学、台山市华侨中学、台山开放大学、台山市委党校、台山市技工学校、台山市少年宫和马兰芳幼儿园。[1] 文体设施有台山图书馆和石花山公园，以及上坑、前进、平湖三处小广场。[1]
2023年，台东路一带的老旧小区开始改造，涉及68栋楼房的外立面整治和基础设施更新。[2]
文化教育[edit]
台山市华侨中学可追溯到1908年开办的台山女师。1954年，华侨捐资，在女师原有校舍上办起台山县华侨中学，此事经广东省文教厅批准，首任董事长是旅居印度尼西亚的华侨黄洁。学校现为广东省一级学校和国家级示范性普通高中，校园面积8.1万平方米。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
辖区内有石花山公园。石花山在台城东北，海拔三百多米，台山旧八景之一「石人耸翠」就在山上；山间的石花水库约15公顷，山上的摩崖石刻群有15题，是台山市文物保护单位。[1][3]
荣誉[edit]
社区2013年获「广东省科普示范社区」称号，2021年获评「江门市绿色社区」；此外，2009年被评为「六好」平安和谐社区，2018年获评台山市「一村（社区）一法律顾问」工作优秀村（社区）。[1][2]
