武东村在广东省江门市江海区礼乐街道北面，东临睦洲水道，北至睦洲河道，是礼乐街道面积和人口较大的行政村，以腊味生产闻名。[1][2]

地理与人口[edit]

村域约3.2平方千米，西接威东、威西、新创、新华等村，南接威东村和乌纱村，环镇公路与乐祥东路穿过。[1][2] 村由益兴里、茂隆里、东隆里、仁厚里等11个自然村组成，区、刘、李、吴为较大姓氏；简介载有1225户5370人，设19个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

村内是广式腊味的传统产地：2000年建成武东腊味开发区，集中分散的腊味厂；2003年成立礼乐腊味行业协会，辅料由协会统一采购。[2] 据2019年报道，村里有30家腊味企业，南兴、鹏中皇、森记等为常见品牌。[2] 村简介另列有食品、金属铸造、新材料研发等工业企业共90家。[1]

文化[edit]

每年端午前后，龙舟的龙头从关帝庙请出；若得冠军，扒丁的名字会刻在庙前石碑上。[2] 村里有醒狮协会，并与村内学校合作开展舞狮、武术教学。[2] 村内另有8棵百年古榕和1只黄果桡龙舟。[1]
