跨龙村在广东省江门市江海区礼乐街道南部，离街道中心约半公里，东面是英南村，西面是雄乡村，以农业为主；村内的跨龙桥和南胜里门楼都是江门市文物保护单位。[1][2]

地理环境与人口[edit]

村由护龙里、忠心里、南安里等七个里组成，村中河涌分出“一河两岸”，总面积约1.6平方千米，其中耕地1007亩、鱼塘1100亩。[1] 村中有36个姓，张、李、林、胡四姓较大；简介载有566户2560人，设8个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

村支书说，村集体收入主要来自鱼塘出租；村里希望借古桥、古榕树等景观发展旅游。[2] 村内有7棵树龄近百年的大榕树。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

跨龙桥又名网顶石桥，是单拱石桥，用红砂岩砌成，清乾隆二十五年（1760年）建成，江门市于2004年4月将它认定为文物保护单位。[1][2] 桥旁的南胜里设有门楼，重建于民国年间，集雕刻、绘画与楹联书法于一体，同为市级文物保护单位。[2]

教育与文化[edit]

村东南角的礼乐街道第二初级中学，前身是新会知县文廷杰于清道光四年（1824年）创办的礼乐书院，1980年改称礼西中学。[1] 村里建有龙舟博物馆，展出历届礼乐端午龙舟赛的奖牌与锦旗；九社南桥坊龙舟队曾获1999年、2004年和2014年三届比赛冠军。[2]
