村始建于元朝初期。因辖区内小河环绕、河底多石，得名石滘。[1]

2009年全村总人口673人。[1]

经济[edit]

村集体的收入以出租厂房为主，兼有农业。[1]石滘村在2023年被评为广东省民主法治示范村。[1]
