历史沿革[edit]
民国时隶属新会县第三区的岭江乡；1951年改为虎岭乡，其后区划数度变动，2002年起归蓬江区棠下镇管辖。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村内有12条自然村和1个圩，分13个村民小组，农业人口约4300人。[1]海外乡亲约1500人，多在港澳、新加坡、加拿大等地。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的周氏六世祖祠（清代），以及棠下凤凰山宋代黎待举公墓及墓群，都是江门市级文物保护单位。[1]
