联沙社区在佛山市南海区丹灶镇东北部，因处于东平水道冲积而成的大洲沙北部而得名，管辖面积6.1平方公里。[1]
地理与人口[edit]
社区辖上良、下良、洲头、五村、六村、沙边六个村民小组，南邻西联、东联，西以南沙涌与横江为界，北与南沙接壤。据2011年的统计，社区共1138户，户籍4536人，外来人口多达1.2万余人，工业企业400多家。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
万历三十七年（1609）时归南海县黄鼎都的登俊堡；1928年划入第七区的俊云溪乡；1953年设联沙乡，1955年属小塘区，1959年为小塘（红星）公社所辖。[1]
