吴平寨村是汕头市南澳县深澳镇东部的行政村，依山傍海，村民主要靠捕鱼为生；村名来自明代海上武装首领吴平在此筑寨[1]。

地名由来[edit]

博雅地名网记，明嘉靖四十四年（1565年），福建漳浦人吴平率众来此建寨，村因此叫吴平寨[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代以前属深澳区；20世纪60年代一度并入三澳大队，1988年分出，1999年设村委会。2004年村居调整，与三澳合为东阳村委会；2017年东阳村委会撤销，吴平寨重新单设村民委员会[1]。

基本情况[edit]

村简介称，总人口325人左右，有大马力拖网渔船18艘[1]。2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」，2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」[1]。
