榴城社区是汕头市南澳县深澳镇镇中心区的居民社区，居民多住在旧深澳城内，辖区即镇政府所在的古城一带[1]。

地名由来[edit]

居民大都住在深澳城里，而深澳盛产石榴，社区因此得名“榴城”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

城中居民在1961年先从农业人口中划出，交工交系统管理，后几经分合，1972年单设居民大队。深澳公社1980年自云澳公社分出后，居民大队随之改隶；到1986年，名称定为榴城社区居民委员会，一直用到现在[1]。

人口与荣誉[edit]

居委会的概况写明，社区有1858人、657户，党员20名[1]。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予它「2022年广东省卫生村」称号[1]。
