南台村是广东省汕头市南澳县云澳镇的行政村，区划代码440523101204，是纯渔业村。村名来自一尊漂到云澳的「三山国王」神像。[1]

名称由来[edit]

相传三百多年前，台湾要建三山国王庙，从大陆雕了一尊神像运去，途中遇风翻船，神像漂在海上，被到南澎海域作业的云澳渔民捞起，带回云澳港，在渡口建庙供奉，称「南台圣王」，村名南台由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清以前是福建诏安县云澳区的南台乡，1914年归广东省南澳县第三区。云澳设镇的1986年起，这里设村民委员会，中间在1991年短暂称管理区，1998年恢复原称。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网所载村简介称，全村302户、1202人，分老村、新村两片；机动渔船28艘，功率约3445千瓦；2009年工农业总产值约4850万元，人均收入3273元。[1]

荣誉[edit]

广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月确定南台村列入2021年广东省乡村治理示范村的创建单位。[1]
