海明是汕头市濠江区马滘街道下辖的社区居委会，位于濠江西岸，由原盐业大队演变而来。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，社区名取南海之滨、期盼光明之意。1979年9月，原马滘盐业大队分为海光、海星、海明三个大队；1980年属达濠镇，1984年改设海明村委会，1999年6月改设居委会。[1]

社区陆地面积0.4平方公里，滩涂另计45亩；有480户、2096人，分5个居民小组，党员35名。[1]2008年获区先进基层党组织称号；2022年1月，广东省乡村振兴局将社区列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
