竟长社区是广东省汕头市金平区大华街道下辖的社区，因居委主辖竟长里片区得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
2001年12月，新兴、新梅、崎碌三个街道合并为大华街道，本社区随之划入。[2]1983年起为新兴街道所属居委会；2002年2月，原竟长居委（部分）、公园头居委（部分）和中华居委（部分）合并，成立金园区大华街道竟长居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区四至为：北面为中山路，南面至外马路，东侧靠汕樟路，西侧靠大华路。[1]
概况[edit]
居委会办公地点在莱莉园北区。社区总面积0.2平方千米，分为5个居民小组，共1672户、5784人。主要道路为大华路和汕樟路。[1]
