福长社区是广东省汕头市金平区大华街道下辖的社区，因主辖福长片区得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
2001年12月，新兴、新梅、崎碌三个街道合并为大华街道，本社区随之划入。[2]1983年起为新兴街道所属居委会；2002年2月，原新兴街道的福长居委、新兴居委（部分）和中华居委（部分）合并，成立金园区大华街道福长居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
社区四至为：北面为中山路，南面至共和路，东侧靠大华路，西侧靠新兴路。[1]
概况[edit]
居委会办公地点在共和市场二楼。社区总面积0.25平方千米，分为10个居民小组，共2458户、8727人。辖区有爱华中学、市委机关幼儿园和共和市场，爱华街、福长一路、福长二路为主要通道。[1]
荣誉[edit]
福长社区在2019年9月公布的广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”2018年创建单位之列。[1]
