大华街道是广东省汕头市金平区下辖的街道，处在金平区中山路的中段，紧挨中山公园，面积2.59平方千米。[1]它于2001年12月由新兴、崎碌、新梅三个街道合并而成，下辖12个社区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网转录的资料，明崇祯年间这里逐渐出现大小不一的村落和街坊；1921年至1952年，辖地分属汕头市第三、第四、第五区。[2]1955年6月，汕头市第三区设立新兴、崎碌两个街道办事处，该区同年12月改称公园区。[1][2]新梅街道由金砂公社的华坞街道（管理区）发展而来，1964年8月改归公园区管理。[1][2]

2001年12月，新兴、崎碌、新梅三个街道合并，成立金园区大华街道。[1]街道得名于辖区内的大华路。[2]2002年2月，辖内居委会重新设置；2003年3月区划调整后，仍属大华街道。[4]

地理环境[edit]

街道北到金砂西路，南到海滨路，东界为汕樟路和饶平路，西界到公园路（接跃进路、博爱路）。辖区内以中山路、汕樟路等为主要干道，另有大小街巷三百多条。[2]

2020年11月1日零时的常住人口为59836人。[1]博雅地名网转录的较早资料称辖区有20588户、75600人。[2]

据博雅地名网转录的资料，2007年，街道外贸出口1341万美元，商业销售额159023万元，工业总产值153330万元；辖内工业企业三百多家，规模以上的有21家，产业集中在电线电缆、包装印刷、毛织服装、塑胶制品和机电机械，汕沪电缆与汕樟轻工机械为国家级高新技术企业。[3]百度百科记载，2011年，街道固定资产投资为4.25亿元，规模以上工业的产值与增加值分别为15.36亿元和2.42亿元。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区毗邻中山公园。市级党政机关、汕头警备区以及市中心医院等单位多设在街道范围内；东征军博物馆所在的文物遗址也被列为辖区周边的历史遗迹。[3]位于大华路11号的日本驻汕头领事馆旧址始建于清光绪三十年（1904年），上世纪二十年代曾重建，占地2500平方米，目前由市检验检疫局管理使用。[2]

街道下设福长、竟长、迎春、炽昌、华坞、华新、集成、康乐、爱华、联兴、乔林、葱陇12个社区。街道驻地设在福长社区。[4]
