金海社区是广东省汕头市金平区东方街道下辖的社区，地处汕头主城区，因居委南临海滨路、办公地址在金厦园，取「金海」二字而得名，据博雅地名网，社区有1830户5950人（未注年份），面积0.48平方千米，辖4个居民小组。[1]

社区北界中山中路，南界海滨路，东起滨港路，西止龙眼南路。区内有海滨长廊，以及汕头海事局、广东粤东航道局和市社保、工商等部门。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧属金园区飞厦街道。2002年1月调整居委设置，榕园居委一部分、金厦居委和金苑居委一部分合并为金海居委；2003年3月区划调整后归东方街道。[1]
