下头合村是汕头市龙湖区新溪街道下辖的行政村，在头合陇西侧，所以叫下头合[1]。村子于2017年10月获评首批广东省卫生村，2022年1月被确定为广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

头合最初是清同治年间外砂谢姓人在港堀外围垦的村子，1902年分为三村，下头合在西[1]。中华人民共和国成立后属头合乡，后为生产大队、管理区，1999年成立村民委员会；2003年划入龙湖区，2019年起属新溪街道[3]。

经济与公共建设[edit]

村情材料载有：306户、1459人，耕地181亩。村子在内片各村与集镇的交界，村民进镇买卖农副产品都要经过，小商业比较发达；2009年工业产值3600万元，农业产值666万元[2]。近年来，村里建起小学新教学楼、办公楼、老年人活动中心和文化广场[2]。2026年1月的报道提到，村里以“德邻新风”为名做党建，设有家风家训文化广场[4]。
