金珠社区在汕头市龙湖区金霞街道境内，属主城区[1]。社区得名于辖区内的金珠园住宅区，名字含有“黄金珠宝之地”的寓意[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

金珠社区居委会起初叫金霞居委会，1992年改名金珠居委会。2002年，金华居委会在榕江路以北、环碧南街以西的那部分辖地划给了它，社区居民委员会随之建立，此后名称未变[1]。
