沙美社区位于珠海市金湾区平沙镇，坐落在孖髻山脚下，涉及农业，辖区面积约16平方公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

「平沙」之名，「沙」字取自沙美村，「平」字取自平塘村；沙美社区即由原沙美村而来。[1][2]

经济[edit]

社区内的沙美工业园核心区建有沙美产业荟项目，4栋人才公寓共1120套保障性租赁住房，2026年5月竣工并试运营，位于汉青路北侧、龙泉路西侧。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年12月，沙美社区进入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村；2022年8月进入当年的广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单；2026年1月，评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
