广发村是珠海市金湾区红旗镇下辖的行政村，村名来自20世纪30年代围垦而成的“广发围”。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村名来自广发围，先有围垦的围，后有村名。1929年以前这里是滩涂，涨潮时一片汪洋；1929年，斗门区乾务镇的一些地主与无田的贫民合力垦成。[1]
1951年土地改革时设广发村，1958年公社化后称广发大队，1966年改名东方红大队，1988年恢复广发村，隶属小林镇；2002年小林镇撤销并入红旗镇，改称广发村委会，沿用至今。[1]
