大林社区是珠海市金湾区红旗镇下辖的社区，属城乡结合区。[1]社区的名字取自当地最高大的山——大林山。[1]

地名由来与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，“大林”二字直接来自大林山，社区因山得名。[1]百度百科的条目把另一处同名社区的内容混在一起，其中与本地相符的说法是：社区前身为红旗华侨农场的大林分场，2000年改制成居民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

社区以黄立鱼养殖闻名。2021年9月，它名列「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」；2023年3月，农业农村部推介它为「2022年全国乡村特色产业产值超亿元村」，又认定为「第十二批全国“一村一品”示范村镇」，三项荣誉的产业都是黄立鱼。[1]
