南潮村在珠海市斗门区井岸镇，是镇上的一个行政村。林姓先祖聚居于此，村子约形成于清乾隆四十五年（1780年）前后。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子背北面南，南边临海，涨潮时海水常漫到村场上，村民认为这是水来财来的好兆头。长期以来村名写作“南朝”；改革开放之初重建祠堂时，工人挖出一块刻有“南潮”的石碑，村民开会后据此把名字改为“南潮”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
立村于乾隆年间，建国后先后属龙泥乡、坭湾公社坭湾大队和坭湾区公所，1986年起设南潮村民委员会，归井岸镇。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2023年11月，南潮村被列入「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」。[1]
