北澳村是珠海市斗门区井岸镇的行政村，位于镇北部，东靠黄杨河，村子在一处海湾凹地（当地叫“澳”）的北边，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，清雍正八年（1730年），容姓先祖从新会迁居此地，逐渐成村；同一网站另一处则称清同治年间立村。建国后北澳属中山县第八区龙泥乡，之后归坭湾公社，1984年改乡，1986年设村民委员会，归井岸镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村里存有民国年间修建的南碉楼、北碉楼，是过去防匪防盗用的，2015年修缮过。精华学校旧址在村内，现在是井岸镇第三小学，校门仍保留原貌。[1]
荣誉[edit]
北澳村名列2019年9月的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，2026年1月又获评「广东省第二批‘百千万工程’典型村」。[1]
