白藤社区属珠海市斗门区白藤街道，统计上划为城乡结合区。[1]社区名沿用白藤山之名；该山因长满名为白藤的藤本植物得名，另有一说是白藤湖边早年开满白藤花。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

白藤居委会成立于1994年，由县政府的城南办事处管。到2009年与新城居委会合并，改名白藤社区居委会，属井岸镇；2012年改由白藤街道管理，名称未变。[1]
