鸡山社区是珠海市香洲区唐家湾镇下辖的社区，位于港湾大道东侧，背靠鸡拍山（凤凰山余脉），山形像一只展翅的雄鸡，社区由此得名，明嘉靖年间的《香山县志》已载有此名。[1][2]它是清华学堂首任校长唐国安的故里，也是广东省非物质文化遗产「鸡山牛歌」的流传地。[1][3]
历史与建筑[edit]
鸡山原是渔村，后改设居委会。现存的历史建筑有硫磺塔、武侯庙等，松鹤唐公祠已改作村史馆和文化服务中心。[1]凤凰山东北麓的凤凰山石亭建于清代，为县级文物保护单位。[2]
唐国安[edit]
唐国安（1858—1913），字国禄，号介臣，生于香山县唐家镇鸡山村，1873年作为第二批留美幼童赴美，1881年因清政府中止计划回国。1909年起参与游美学务处，主持庚款留美学生的考选；1912年促成清华学堂复学，同年10月清华学堂改称清华学校，他出任首任校长，1913年8月病逝于任上。[3]
牛歌与社区发展[edit]
鸡山牛歌是中秋夜村民聚在一起用方言对唱的习俗，社区组建了牛歌队传承。[1]据百度百科，鸡山入选广东首批美丽侨村，有海外华侨970人，侨资企业11家；社区集体经济收入突破1600万元；「鸡山城市阳台」是集商业、酒店、办公于一体的文旅综合体，总建筑面积4.02万平方米，高新建投公司和鸡山股份公司合作推进。[1]
