银坑社区是珠海市香洲区湾仔街道下辖的社区，由原银坑村改设，2001年11月银坑村委会改为居委会[1]。社区内水库坝脚有清咸丰七年（1857年）的银坑升平人瑞牌坊，列为县级文物保护单位[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

银坑村清代隶香山县；1925年县名改作中山县后，归第五区；1953年划入新成立的珠海县[1]。集体化时期先有水艇组、农业组，1970年成为生产队，1980年定名银坑大队，1985年随湾仔建镇归湾仔镇管辖，1998年大队改称村委会[1]。
