翠景社区是珠海市香洲区前山街道下辖的社区，居委会成立于2002年1月，辖区内多是上世纪90年代的老旧小区，共14个，常住人口约1.5万人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网称，翠景社区名称取自翠微，其前身依次为翠微初级社（1949年至1953年）、翠微高级社（1954年至1957年）、翠微大队（1958年至1983年）、翠微乡（1984年至1987年）和翠微村委会（1988年至2001年），2001年改为居委会。[2] 百度百科则写作2002年1月成立居委会，辖区东界翠前北路，西界明珠南路，南到翠微西路，北到人民西路。[1]

辖区常住人口与流动人口各占一半，约1.5万人。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年，前山街道选翠景社区做试点，组建「义警」队伍，党员带头，负责巡逻治安、调解纠纷。[1] 据2024年4月的总结，队伍成立两年来，社区违法犯罪警情同期下降17.3%，信访总量同比下降78.6%。[1]

荣誉[edit]

翠景社区也在2019年9月公布的2018年度「广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单中。[2]
