沙绩在碧岭社区，离街道办事处约7千米，邻近安田、上沙、下沙、碧岭围、永仁陂、新作坡。清代，曾、邱、廖三姓迁来，形成曾屋、邱屋、廖屋三个围村，1956年并为沙绩生产队，由此得名，曾叫碧岭四村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
本地世居者姓廖、邱、曾，2015年底户籍人口233人，通行客家话。传统种水稻、甘蔗，20世纪90年代起建工业区出租物业；2005年成立股份合作公司，2015年厂房共3万平方米，租金收入超过300万元。[1]
清代的客家民居尚存嘉绩世居、邱氏围屋和曾氏的斗廊院建筑群；2012年，嘉绩世居被公布为不可移动文物。[1]
