碧岭围在碧岭社区，离街道办事处约7千米，邻近安田、榕树背、沙绩、下沙。村建于清代，最先来居住的是陈姓，后来林、钟、余、麦、侯、廖、邓等姓陆续迁入，成了多姓杂居的村落。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
土地改革时期合并对面村、余屋村、桥头村，得名碧岭围；据说因对面山岭状如笔锋，客家话里「笔」「碧」同音。2015年末户籍人口369人。[1]
传统种水稻、甘蔗，八十年代起办工业，2005年设立股份合作公司。村内留有8座客家传统民居，以及日军侵华时立的石碑。深圳新闻网称该村曾用名沙坑村，石碑写作「碧岭峠」，并说1941年日军曾由此路运兵往香港。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
位于坪山盆地，地势平坦，村东有坪山河流过，主要山岭为炮台山。[1]
