民康社区是深圳市龙华区民治街道东部的社区，东与龙岗区坂田街道相接，南到民康路，西到民治大道，北到布龙路。[1]社区于2022年6月13日开始筹备成立，辖区面积约1.23平方千米。[1]

基本情况[edit]

据博雅地名网，社区管理的人口约2.9万，户籍者约1.2万；辖区有1个城中村和5个花园小区，楼栋417栋，出租屋16079间套。[1]社区实行「一站一居」，设有民康居委会，下辖沙元埔股份合作公司，该公司为二级股份合作公司，股民70人。[1]

沙元埔村[edit]

社区内的沙元埔村旧称沙园埔，始建于清朝中期，邓氏先祖由梅州迁来；它与水尾、东边、向南、沙吓、塘水围、牛栏前等村在历史上合称望天湖。[2]村旁的民治河由西向南流过，村子靠近深圳北站，2018年完成城中村综合整治。[2]

教育与医疗[edit]

社区内有九年一贯制公办学校华南实验学校，公办幼儿园2所，另有在建的深圳市第二儿童医院。[1]
