社区工作站设在华侨新村，故以此为名。[2]

区划沿革[edit]

现社区是在原华侨新村社区的基础上，并入原志盛社区以及横岗社区的弥敦道花园、长安大厦而成，范围东起旱塘一路，南临龙岗大道，西到四联路，北抵华茂街。[1]2022年8月被认定为第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[2]
