紫荆社区是深圳市福田区莲花街道下辖的社区，设立于2000年，住宅与写字楼混合，辖区内有深圳报业集团等单位。[1]

名称与历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是1999年7月设立的紫荆居委会，当时属华富街道；2002年6月，改为紫荆社区居民委员会并划归莲花街道。[2] 官网简介写作社区成立于2000年10月。[1] 社区名称取自香港的区花紫荆花，用以纪念香港回归祖国。[2]

辖区[edit]

辖区以新洲路、景田南路、深南路和红荔路为四界。[2] 据官网简介，社区面积0.45平方公里，共5978户，人口约1.7万人，户籍的有1.11万人，暂住的5900人。社区有16个住宅小区，写字楼6栋，如报业大厦、人民大厦和天健商务大厦等。[1] 辖区内各类单位约1000家，深圳报业集团、岁宝百货、景鹏小学都在其中。[1]
