翠湾社区在深圳市福田区沙头街道，辖区约0.2平方千米，新洲路、金地七路、福荣路、福强路围成四界。2003年10月自沙尾居委会析出，成立翠湾居委会。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
这里原是田野，后来先后建起沙尾工业区和金地工业（东）区，由沙尾居委会管理。2000年以后，后者拆建成四个住宅小区：金地海景花园、翠堤湾花园、金海丽名居和全海花园。[1]社区名称取自邻近红树林鸟类自然保护区的“翠绿海湾”之意。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区建筑面积共48万平方米，住宅占42万。区内还有深圳市文化创意园，以工艺品、艺术品的展示和交易为主。全海花园由福田区政府建成，作福利房用。[1]社区在2022年8月获评「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
