上林社区是广东省深圳市福田区园岭街道下辖的社区，在街道办事处东北，面积0.53平方公里，东到红岭北路，南到八卦中路，北到泥岗路。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

上林居民委员会经上步管理区批复，于1990年5月16日成立；2002年改为上林社区居委会，名称沿用至今。[1] 后来的华林社区原先就归上林居委会管。[2]

地名由来[edit]

开发以前，这里是一片杂树林，于是叫作上林。[1]

人口民族[edit]

社区现有常住人口24526人，户籍人口约8561人，另有流动人口15965人。[1]

经济[edit]

辖区有7个住宅小区（50栋住宅楼，多用于出租）、14栋工业厂房和10栋写字楼。设在这里的企事业单位超过1270家，小型门店400多家，规模较大的有一致药业、万乐药业、又一居灯饰城和八卦岭汽配城。社区另有社区服务中心、星光老年之家和图书馆。[1]

深圳市住房和建设局在2022年3月，把上林社区认定为「第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」。[1]
