古市村是南雄市古市镇的行政村，与始兴县塘角村隔浈江相望，耕地6943亩，分31个村小组，是镇内村小组最多的村。村名与古市圩的得名传说相同。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

古市村由古市公社原有的倚逢、小水、窑塘三个大队在1961年合并而成，称古市大队。后来依次改为乡（1983年）、管理区（1988年），1998年撤区建村，成立古市村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

党员83人，主要种黄烟和晚造水稻，年集体收入2.3万元。广东省爱卫会在2023年5月授予古市村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
