神前岭村属乐昌市三溪镇，和镇内其余七个村都有边界相连[1]。现行建制定于1998年，其前身是1958年设立的神前岭大队[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

神前岭大队设于1958年；1983年改为神前岭乡政府，1987年改称神前岭村委会，1989年一度叫管理区，1998年复设村民委员会，一直延续到现在[1]。

名列「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」，公布于2019年9月[1]。
