历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，埕头在建国初期为埕头乡，1958年改称埕头大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年改为村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年恢复村委会之名，沿用至今。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
据博雅地名网所载的村情材料（未注明年份），全村辖13个自然村，278户1605人，以种植水稻、辣椒和荷兰豆为主。[1]
荣誉[edit]
埕头村的荣誉有：2023年4月，进入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建名单；2024年1月，被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」；同年3月，获评2023年度广东省卫生村；2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
