历史沿革[edit]

1949年至1957年，这里是民光乡；1958年至1983年改称民光大队；1983年复称乡，1986年起为村委会；1993年改称民光管理区，1998年改名民光村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

民光村在2026年3月入选「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」；2023年5月，省爱卫会授予它「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
