据博雅地名网转录的村情介绍，该村下设14个村民小组，共673户、2680人，耕地约760.09亩，主要种植水稻、花生、蔬菜，人均纯收入（2009年）为6430元[1]。

名称由来[edit]

村名取辖区内马鞍山的「马」与曹溪河沙滩（沙坝）的「坝」合成[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月曲江县人民政府成立后，设马坝乡，属第一区；1951年5月建村人民政府，称马坝村政府；1952年3月改归马坝区管辖；1961年3月起称马坝大队，归马坝公社；1983年11月公社改区、乡，称马坝乡；1986年12月设村委会；1989年改称管理区；1998年12月复称村委会，沿用至今[1]。
