山子背村是广东省韶关市曲江区马坝镇下辖的行政村，位于城区东北，在韶钢集团公司以北，毗邻大塘镇梅花村，距城区5公里[1]。

据博雅地名网转录的村情介绍，该村下设8个村民小组，共420户、1989人，耕地约1582.5亩，主要种植水稻、花生、蔬菜，人均纯收入（2009年）为6561元[1]。
名称由来[edit]
村庄和水田多在山的背后，故称山子背[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
1949年10月曲江县人民政府成立后，设山子背乡，属第一区；1951年5月改设村人民政府；1952年3月改归马坝区管辖；1961年3月起称山子背大队，归马坝公社；1983年11月公社改区、乡，称山子背乡；1986年12月设村委会；1989年改称管理区；1998年12月复称村委会，沿用至今[1]。
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月公布的名单中，山子背村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]
