名称由来[edit]

村委会的前身是一处示范农场，故以农场为名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

农业社建于1956年，翌年转入农场从事种养；1965年办起果菜公司，当时叫农场大队，1976年改设农场管理区；1983年底撤公社建乡，称农场乡；其后几度在村委会与管理区之间改称，1998年12月定为农场村委会，沿用至今[1]。

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月公布的名单中，农场村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]
