惠民东社区是韶关市武江区新华街道辖下的社区，区划代码440203001011，办公地址在武江南路158号。[1] 据博雅地名网所载，社区面积0.7平方千米，常住人口10871人，共3625户。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

名称来由：因居委会驻地在惠民南路东侧而得名。[1] 社区前身惠民东居委会由石狮头居委会划分而成，时间在1993年5月；2002年6月起称社区居委会。[1]

2008年11月，社区获评「广东省“六好”平安和谐社区」，当年12月又入选「广东省第三批城市体育先进社区」；2019年9月，进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

辖区东临武江南路，西到惠民南路，南起北江桥头，北到田家炳中学西围墙，街巷有惠民南路、武江南路和光明巷。驻区单位有粤北医院和韶关学院医学院。[1]
