历史沿革[edit]
名称来由：因社区位于芙蓉山脚的北侧而得名。[1] 芙蓉北居委会成立得较早，在1981年9月，2002年6月改称社区居委会。[1]
2009年9月，社区获评「广东省“六好”平安和谐社区」；2019年9月，进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位名单」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区从林桥坑一带伸到寓山路，南靠芙蓉山脚，北到芙蓉新城吉祥路口，区内道路有吉祥路、芙蓉北路，另有津头岭新村路和津头岭的五条横巷。市看守所、市救助站和市交通拯救队在辖区内，区属学校是至和汤邓淑芳小学。[1]
